With more than 70 years of processing experience we have encountered a wide variety of crop kinds and qualities. Whether specifications are Canadian Certified, US Certified, OECD Certified, EU Norms, or company specific, we are continually working to ensure we exceed the quality specifications of the various regulatory bodies both domestic and abroad.

Imperial Seed's roots run deep in Western Canada, dating back to 1950 when it began as a source of procuring and marketing quality seed oats and seed wheat. By the 1960’s this was expanded into proprietary forage and turf seed multiplication for national and international customers. The expansion continued to the point that by the late 1970's Imperial Seed's processing and marketing was entirely focused on the forage and turf seed market.
